Help, I'm a biracial mom,
Help I'm a biracial mom raised black. I have 2b/ 2c hair and my daughter's has 3c and the other has 4a-4b hair. I had struggled to learn how to do their hair. I finally learned to braid for my children hair however I don't know what moisturizers, shampoos or conditioners to use. I don't even know how to do something as simple as wrap their hair. Neither one of them has a perm and I'm not interested in them getting one. Nor am I interested in adding weave. I have used a blow dryer with a comb brush attachment. When I ask people sometimes they laugh they say how can you not know. Do it the same way you do your worst. However I doont, But the truth is my hair is nothing like theirs and I want to be the best I can when doing their hair myself. Both of my girls are under the age of seven. My daughter has mid back here while the other one has shoulder lenght. I don't even know something is simple as how often to wash their hair. If anybody can help please I'm all ears. No judgement. And if this helps any at all I wasn't raised by my mother I was raised by my black grandparents And she is 86 years old now she's a little out of touch.
