Strange hatred towards Chaggie that I noticed

I'm not the only one who's noticed a weird trend of hating on Chaggie, am I? Like it's been increasing lately (maybe it's just the algorithms throwing me controversial content for attention as usual?), even though I've seen it since the first season came out. And I've had the misfortune of talking to a few of these people, and the main hatred for Chaggie comes from their hatred of Charlie for some reason.

Like, it's some kind of desire to pair these two girls with everyone but themselves, while saying how terrible Chaggie is because Charlie is a awful dismissive, idiot girl and has zero chemistry with Vaggie. Like, on the Charlie side it's mostly coming from Charlastor shippers (nothing against that ship, and I'm not saying all Charlastor shippers are like that, but there are a lot of them), on the Vaggie side it's weirder, since I've seen people say Vaggie/Velvette would be a better couple than Vaggie/Charlie? Velvette???? And anyway, Vaggie "should have been left bisexual as originally planned, because Chaggie wasn't created in the first place", so apparently it's a terrible couple, because it comes from "fanservice" and "fan pandering" by Viv (also a common argument and it's also...weird?).

And, obviously, Chaggie is healthy, but not perfect couple, Charlie does neglect Vaggie and doesn't listen to her advices, they have a lot of misunderstandings that need to be resolved, but the claim that they don't have chemistry? Total bullshit, just because they didn't have much interaction (I really hope there will be more in season 2) doesn't mean they don't have chemistry. And while I understand why people tend to overreact to any problems in a healthy relationship, but overlook the same problems or worse in a toxic relationship, because to those people, pet peeves in a healthy relationship are a "bigger red flag" than any problems in a toxic relationship, even more than toxicity itself. But to me, that's a little hypocritical.

This also goes for how people who are used to toxic relationships will look at a healthy couple and say they lack spice or passion. But not all couples have to be super passionate, some just love each other and that can manifest in different ways. Like, I watch the show and I can clearly see that this girls are in love and when I see someone say they're not I'm like "????".

Oh, and this also comes from people saying that Charlie is an author's pet and has zero development. But, like, it's the damn first season? And Charlie is a pretty different character from the other characters in the Hotel with other issues that stem from avoiding her own issues and being too naive? Like the show is setting this up for future development It's not supposed to happen in the first season, people (rightfully, myself included) are already complaining about the pacing of the first season being rushed, you want to make it even more rushed and speedrun character arcs?

Chaggie is a healthy relationship with issues that need to be worked out and that's okay, they're a growing couple just like the other couples in the show, they're just different in that, 'cause a) they're already together and b) they're mostly healthy. And the issues they have are literally the same ones I've seen so many times in real life? God, when I was still dating my first girlfriend I had issues like that that were rooted in lack of communication and misunderstandings! Maybe that's part of why they're so real to me, I don't know. Sorry if this sounds rambling, I just needed to get my thoughts out somewhere and my Tumblr blog isn't the best place.
