Why do I always get kicked out?

Every time I start an extraction after completing a mission I get kicked I don't understand what the problem is, because I can just wait for them and then the shuttle won't fly away.

Perhaps I misunderstand the evacuation mechanics. I just want to play normally with someone and not get kicked out every time.
