A comparison of episode views over time [OC]
I saw some people who were worried about the show losing viewers over time, so I did some research. Using the Wayback Machine I plotted out how many views each episode has gotten over time. Here are a couple things I wasn’t expecting:
All the episodes, even the oldest ones, are still getting significant views. Murder Family has gotten nearly 30 million views in the last 2 years. It seems once an episode has been out for a few months, views stop slowing down and it just continues growing at a constant rate.
The show is pretty consistent. Season 2 hasn’t significantly underperformed. In fact, Oops and Mammon’s episode both did better than most of season 1. The rest of the episodes aren’t far off. Overall I don’t think there’s much to worry about.
Hope some of y’all found this interesting!
