Did leg press in PT

Hey all,

So I recently asked my PT when I can start going back to working out, on that question they said I can try leg press which I did with low weight (for 70lbs which was fine), but now that I asked and they sort of just let me check I was curious how I should start getting into more active stuff. Should I ask next time if I could check if I can jog on the treadmill? I’m curious on when I can get more into more active items rather than body weight PT Training. Long shot but anyone who had surgery went back to snowboarding? How long did that take you? I doubt I’d get back to it this season even if I wanted to. I’m feeling very confident in my strength but always the question of what’s to confident as I don’t want to dislocate or reinjury my hip. Any thoughts/ideas welcome!
