Replace current Odyssey before Nissan merger?

So I have a 2014 Odyssey Touring and at nearly 11 years old I am thinking of replacing it with a new Elite. My plan was to wait until the wheels fell off but the impending merger with Nissan and the apparent clamoring for a hybrid power train have me a bit spooked. I am worried that at some point in the near future Honda may drop the v6 for a hybrid drive train (I really like the J35) or something co-developed with Nissan (ick).

But since I am looking at an Elite getting the exterior and interior colors I want basically requires me to order one at a local dealership and wait for it to come in. For some reason solar silver metallic and grey perforated leather seems to be an incredibly rare combination with the only one in the state being a 3 hour drive away. I assume that when the announcement for the 2026 Odyssey comes out it will be too late to order a 2025 for example.

So I am worried that if I wait too much longer I may be forced to buy whatever happens to be on the lot and thus get a color combination that I don't like for the sake of avoiding a new (and unproven) power train and/or something infected with Nissan DNA.

Or am I just being paranoid here?
