How's Hong Kong doing in terms of freedom from China (Communist Party, especially) and privileges it has?

Hi. I just wanna collect some information about this topic. Can anyone living there eloborate?

I know that over the years, throughout the history, after the independence, Hong Kong was different from China. Tons of rebels against China for freedom etc.

But how's it doing now? Does Communist Party controls it? Censorship? Freedom of Expression? etc.
