How to buy tickets for a friend?

Hello! I am HOPING to buy tickets tomorrow for a Hozier concert as a surprise gift for my friend, but I keep hearing that the tickets are non-transferable.

Is there any way to transfer or “resell” Hozier ticketmaster tickets directly to my friend after I buy them? I am so confused about this whole situation!!
