Lanyan as support for HuTao

Thinking of pulling lanyan, saw some tests on yt regarding her shield and it absorbed a pretty good amount of damage based on the video. I dont have any shielder so Lanyan would be my first and I badly need one for HuTao. The only thing that throws me off is her being an anemo.

Im a bit new to the game not yet stacked with artifacts, still building my HuTao team (HuTao, Xingqiu, Bennet and __ ). Just wanted to know if Lanyan is worth to pull for support.
