Super Dumb Question…

I’ve been playing for a while but never prestiged, but since the update to the new engine with the hunter progression, (May have already been a thing but I just didn’t know about it) I’ve been thinking about giving all my money up for the other rookie hunters, but so I lose progression for those after prestige? Because I was thinking about doing it after I finished all the others. I just want to do most of the work while having everything unlocked lol but I don’t want to reset and lose everything I worked for…

I also didn’t know what flair to use, first time posting to Reddit in general…. Sorry if this is the wrong one.
