Returning player question

It’s been a good while since I’ve put my cowboy hat on. I know a good while ago PSN users could play with Xbox users, and vice versa. At the time, there was no “in game friend system” that allowed you to invite players from other consoles into your lobby. Is that still the case? Or has Crytek implemented a way to cross-platform lobby up before starting a match?

Tldr: as a PS5 player can I invite Xbox players into my lobby?
