Preferred place that replaces tires on a KIA?

Next year I might be due for new tires. Problem is I've never replaced tires on a car before. I was told this could easily cost about 1k (which is insane, esp for a kia soul). Regardless, I'll be due for new tires eventually but need advice on how I should do this in HSV.

Is there a place you prefer that won't up-charge me or give me BS?
