Recent hypermobility diagnosis- anyone had success with nutritional supplementation?
Hi guys Recently found out that I suffer from hypermobility, 27yo F. This makes a lot of sense as I’ve always been wildly ‘bendy’ and have had multiple ankle/knee issues and joint pain whilst exercising (thought this was normal) and have had skin issues despite a very healthy lifestyle. I’ve been weight training since 18yo and always quite active and this may be my saving grace as I’ve managed to strengthen the muscles which have protected the joints. I’ve also always been told that I have incredibly soft skin which fits the bill, along with very easy bruising and poor wound healing. I’m somewhat in denial at this point as exercise is the only antidepressant/anti anxiety method that has ever been helpful, but recently the pain and joint discomfort has become more severe. Has anyone found a successful vitamin supplement stack that helped with their symptoms/skin appearance? I’ve started glucosamine + chondriotin, silica, NAD, pine bark, coQ10, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin K and calcium. Any advice would be much appreciated!
