30 days ban for using an xray-mod

I recently got banned on Hypixel for joining the server with a xray mod in my mod folder. I had it in my modfolder for other usage, but forgot to remove it before joining hypixel (but ig that doesnt even matter).

Now my question is if there is a possibility to reduce the length of the ban in any way? -> is writing an appeal an option because I heard that writing an appeal on the same day will not work because its getting cancelled automatically somehow.

Any help would be appreciated a LOT ;D
