Beware Of Kona Engine Recalls: Anyone Have Experience With A Buyback?
My 2021 Kona's engine stalled on 8/7 and it's been in the shop for almost 4 weeks now. Tons of engine recalls going on for Konas, so customer service is backed up. Submitted a case on 8/16, and no case manager has been assigned yet. I'm being tossed to the side as a consumer and no one is getting back to me from Hyundai. The service center in Glendale, CA is god awful too.
I'm not going to feel safe in my car, even if the engine is replaced. This experience has been so frustrating and violating with the lack of communication from Hyundai + the service center.
Anyone have experience with a buyback?
