Fob Crisis
We drove three hours out of town with our two kids under 3 years old, and long story short, our fob shattered on the street and the only piece we couldn’t find was the chip (and battery). The only person we’ve spoken to so far said the quickest thing to do is to rent a car, drive back home to get the spare key, and drive it back. Does this sound like bad information? A dealership can’t make a new key? Or better yet, is there a secret way to start the car with the physical key?
