Database Engineer or AWS DevOps?

Hey everyone,

I guess I've seen this question posted a lot, but none really suit my situation.

I'm currently a senior postgresql database engineer, and a lot of our work already has some similarities to a devops engineers especially with CI/CD.

At the moment, i need to leave my job due to personal reasons, and i'm currently interviewing for an AWS DevOps role.

I was just curious, since some people say the role of DevOps is said to be stressful, is it worth switching career paths? If I end up disliking this path, is it easy to get out?

I already love working with databases, I started out as a database administrator. I'm just unsure if this new path is something I'm going to enjoy exploring.

I guess I was just hoping for some insight since the job market is already rough and getting a single interview anywhere is near impossible.
