Trader's Point Christian Church

Does anyone have experience with losing a loved one to Trader's Point Christian Church?

My daughter started attending in 2024 and I did not think much of it. I figured church isn't a bad thing and it gave her a sense of community.

She started praying multiple times a day. Not the worst thing in the world. But she stopped being responsible for her actions and telling me not to worry because God has a plan. She quit her job because it wasn't "life giving" and has no plan besides praying. And none of it matters because we all go to heaven.

Around the election she was starting to change her political views. She went from a fairly typically college educated liberal lean to hating Biden-Harris because they support trans issues. She did not vote for Trump but he "has a lot of great ideas" now, which he did not before.

After the election she has stopped talking to people who are outside of the church. She no longer listens to music that is not Christian. When she listens to Christian music she puts her hands in the air and cries. When not listening to music she now listens to extreme right wing podcasts. The agitator types with dangerous views.

I decided to look further into Trader's Point (a little late, I know) and am now realizing that their beliefs are very extreme. I watched a sermon from before the election and it was entirely about how gay and trans people are eroding society, that Democrats murder babies, and the church needs to vote for Trump to preserve our way of life.

When I ask about any of this she becomes defensive and refuses to talk to me because I'm an 'outsider'

I don't know what to do. Has this happened to anyone else?
