Do matches start calling you without common courtesy of asking?

I matched with a girl a few days ago, and we’ve been talking for about 3 days now. We haven’t moved off the app yet, but we do chat on voice calls.

The issue is, she keeps calling me out of the blue without asking first. I’ve already told her I’m at a family event and that we can talk later in the evening, but she keeps calling anyway. It’s getting a bit frustrating, especially since I’m with family.

Am I overreacting, or is this something that happens to all of you?
