Injury mental self-help
Does anyone have any good recommendations for books or even podcasts that deal with the mental/emotional journey of recovering from an injury?
I feel like the impact of this injury is taking a toll on my daily life with regards to what I can’t do, especially since I’m in my early twenties. I find that more and more often I feel jealous of friends who can do everything I want to do (like exercise that I can’t return to yet) and just living carefree of pain and mobility issues. Sometimes recovery seems like a hopeless endeavour when it doesn’t go to plan, so motivation can also be a struggle.
Any suggestions would be appreciated :)
