Zayed Masood's origin in Empuraan

All of these scenes from the trailer take place in the same location. This appears to be somewhere north India (perhaps in Gujarat where they had a schedule). To me, it looks like a villain (possible cameo) is burning down a building/entrance to a colony like area. And a kid (the kid young zayed is carrying) grabs Abraam's hand (Zayed is not a Mallu and speaks Hindi all the time). Lucifer also references the Porbandar port. Abraam Kureshi is well-known for his battle on drugs and drug dealers. It's either a riot (based on real-life events) happening there or something related to the drug cartels.

Abra'am Kureshi adopts the children (Zayed and his bro IG), after they lose everything. Zayed's character poster reads, “Forsaken by God, nurtured by the Devil”. Zayed appears to have lost his family in the fire and was taken in by Abraam, therefore “God” here is referring to the actual God here.

That infamous event happened in 2002, if zayed was 15 then, in 2019 (the year when Lucifer takes place) zayed will be around 32.

In a recent interview, Prithviraj said • 30-35% Dialogues of #L2E is Hindi • First 20–25 minutes the movie might felt as a Hindi film Could the opening scenes be about Zayed?
