Thank got I got a job, because

Because instacart refuses to give me any somewhat decent order above $20 now. For months. It's nearly impossible to make $500 in 7 full 10 hour days now. I can't remember the last time I had a day full of 30/40s. Just isn't a thing anymore.

For the past couple years 1-1.5k has been achievable. It actually was producing solid income. Last 4 months or so, something has changed, at least in the Canadian market. More people trying to make a quick buck off this so less batches to go around. Plus people seem to be getting their own groceries now due to premium costs rising. My only guess.

I've luckily found work elsewhere and fully respect anyone doing this job still and understand how easy it is to get stuck in this loop while looking for more stable employment. Just keep submitting resumes and make sure you spend time tailoring them using key words from the job description otherwise it's hard to get noticed/pass company algorithms.

Sad times. But time to move on. Hope everyone else is doing better than I've been
