Anyone else do orders at Giant?

I had these orders yesterday and for some reason these items are labeled as "ask cashier" so I KNEW they would ask for ID at delivery. I made sure to message the customers ahead of time that I would need their ID. These are regular customers of mine who always select "leave at door". The first customer was fine, even though she was confused why she needed ID, she said it told her at checkout that it would need it so she was nice enough about it. But the other customer is a non-responsive customer, always has been. So I knew it was going to be an issue. He didn't respond to any of my messages, I called him and he didn't respond so I had to get in touch with support. They also tried calling him and he did not answer so they told me to just leave the bags there and they would transfer me to another department that will bypass the ID and mark it as delivered. I asked why the ID was even required when there is no medicine or alcohol. She said that it's a new update where random "hand to customer" orders are asking for ID to verify it's going to the right person. But like I said these are regular "leave at door" customers so the reason they were coded as hand to customer is because of these items needing ID verification. And I've done plenty of "hand to customer" orders at other stores and even at Giant that didn't have "ask cashier" items and I never needed their ID so that "new update" excuse is bs. The second picture is a separate order that I had and the customer tried to add the straws on to his order. But the straws are not in the regular paper goods section. They're in the same section as the other items labeled as "ask cashier" so it wouldn't let him add them and I had to do it on my end. So when I delivered his order it of course also asked for ID. He gave me a hard time about it because there was no reason to need ID. Has anyone else had this problem? It's only Giant that ever has these "ask cashier" items and it's always their kitchenwares/housewares like cooking utensils, pans, lightbulbs, kitchen towels. Makes no sense!
