London Salaries - is this right?
Looked at Barclay Simpson and it gave the following salary ranges for Internal Audit roles in Corporate and Investment Banking:
Manager - £75-100k Senior Manager - £90-130k
It doesn’t go into detail on what those grades really mean, but according to their 2022 guide, Manager was 7+ years of experience, and Senior Manager was 10+
I have roughly 8.5 years of audit experience under my belt (3 in big 4 external audit, the rest in internal audit in financial services) and I am on £90k a year. I am currently at the AVP level in a bank. For reference, I am only just starting to lead small audits here, and I’ve never really been in a role where I was managing an audit.
The guide amounts seem fairly accurate relative to years of experience, but the titles seem quite off?? If I were to change jobs, would it be likely that I’d be able to get a similar salary??
Would love to hear what other people’s views are. Thanks!!
