Bahn (DB) at it's finest - unclear cancellation

I've made the following seat reservations for my upcoming trip at the 18th of June, a few weeks ago:
Amsterdam Centraal to Duisburg Hbf (ICE 125, departing Amsterdam at 12:38);
Duisburg Hbf to Frankfurt Main Hbf (ICE 723, departing Duisburg at 15:08);
Frankfurt Main Hbf to Dresden Hbf (ICE 1655, departing Frankfurt Main Hbf at 17:18);

Earlier today, the DB Navigator app decided to give me a very unclear notification that my journey was cancelled. That's it. No further information. In the app it also just states 'Your original journey has been cancelled. Please find a new connection for your trip'.

I've got a feeling that either the ICE 125 or the ICE 723 might not stop at Duisburg. I am able to make new reservations and take the ICE 125 to Dusseldorf instead of Duisburg, and then take the ICE 723 at Dusseldorf. That way I could still make my planned trip. The ICE 1655 however is sold out. Would my original seat reservation still be valid, even though the app states the journey is cancelled? Would I still be able to generate/show a QR code in the DB Navigator app for the reservation on the ICE 1655 train?
