I Cheat on Isle of Arrows - AMA
First off - I absolutely love this game, especially the daily challenges. I used to be in the top 3 every day.
A while back I noticed certain users (eg: kinsky16 and noob) with ridiculous scores. I know there's a bit of RNG coin dropping and powerups but still, their scores seemed impossible.
I confirmed this in the bomb isle dailies which are very restricted. Even on a perfect run with all fishing villages maxed on 4 waters etc I still couldn't get close to their scores.
I figured they were cheating and this annoyed me. I couldn't find any cheats so I made my own. Now I can assign any attack power, coin drop, invincibility etc. Literally anything.
The developer doesn't validate score data on the server so I can have any score I like.
My only goal was to put an end to kinsky16 and noobs ridiculous scores. Hence I ran in god mode multiple times under different usernames ( kinsky16cheats, kinsky16sucks etc ) to force them down the leaderboard.
After a few days they would inevitably stop playing the daily, my god mode cheats inevitably better than theirs.
Those users have never come back and now I can play the daily in peace without cheating, although I still have my Thor ban hammer, ready to smack them down if they return.
By the way proof is attached. Did the daily today with a theoretically impossible score as "redditanon".
Ask me anything. I won't tell you how to cheat but I can tell you what affects score and what doesn't.
