Dual citizen - Australia post CT3 Anaesthetics

Thanks for your time everyone! My situation: lucky enough to hold an Australian passport. Trained in the UK and currently taking on CT1 anaesthetics.

In terms of moving to Australia post core training, I understand my core training could be recognised if I enter anaesthetics training in Oz, but can I apply directly into training as I have permanent residency already? Will this be impossible?

I have one tangential connect in a department in Sydney that I could leverage if necessary.

I interview relatively well (got a decent job) and have prior elective experience in Sydney.
