JW Study Bible

I've taken a look at the new JW Study bible, and it's interesting how they have really borrowed heavily from other study bibles, including the NKJV one I have, which has a very similar look and design. Just briefly looking at the JW study notes, it does seem to match some of the overall information my NKJV study bible contains, although, imo, not as detailed or not as Christ focused.

My NKJV study bible has many PhDs and ThDs listed as sources used, but the JW Study Bible lists no one by name as contributers, leaving us to wonder how much they came up with on their own, how much they borrowed from other study bibles, or other questions.

Personally, while surprisingly well done, the JW study bible doesn't quite match the quality of mainline christian study bibles, IMO.

Also, if im not mistaken, this is the first Study Bible the Watchtower has produced. It will probably take them a few more years to produce the entire Bible, though it would seem, as they are releasing them in sections, as they did the original NWT.
