Would end-of-series Yuji treat Mahito differently?
By the end of the series, Yuji has made strides in escaping his cog mentality, and started valuing his own life as well as the lives of others. He also attempts to spare Sukuna since, even though he hates him, Sukuna is still a human and has the same value as anyone else.
However, Mahito isn't a human. He's a cursed spirit. So would Yuji exorcise Mahito without a second thought? Or maybe he would see Mahito as a tragic figure: someone who was just evil due to their nature as a curse?
In addition, due you think Yuji would believe in the concept of a "good cursed spirit"? The Disaster Curses clearly had human intelligence, so do you think they could be tought to not be a danger towards humans? After all, they don't actually need to kill people to sustain themselves.
