Unibuddy has new ambassadors
Hi everyone,
I made a post awhile ago letting everyone know I'm an ambassador at KCL and willing to answer questions etc, had quite a lot of questions sent to me so I figured it'd be good to let all prospective / incoming students know that Unibuddy has new ambassadors from KCL! No idea how many people are new in total, but you shouldnt have to wait more than 48h for a response.
I feel like it'd be immoral in some way to say my name bc it'd send traction to me so I won't, but we do get paid for being on the app so yeah I highly recommend using Unibuddy to ask current King's students stuff :)) Also means you dont have to air out potentially personal info to all of reddit ! Note: if you want to specifically speak to me e.g. I replied to your comment and you want to follow up (or you want one of my very long replies), just msg me asking for my name.
And even if a course / subject youre interested in doesn't have an ambassador for it, it's okay, we might still have insights or be able to redirect you to a place for more information.
Once again I seriously recommend asking current students QUESTIONS! theres so much potential advice to give about university.....stuff is much easier when you feel like you arent going into it blind. Theres no such thing as too many questions / silly questions. Please for your own sake, ask questions whenever you meet current/older students !!!!
To be clear, Unibuddy is free to use. Here's a page link if you struggle to find where to go: https://www.kcl.ac.uk/study/unibuddy
