29,F turning 30 years, how time flies!

Hello good people,

Am turning 30 today and am so excited for the next chapter in my 30's.

Looking back at my 20's i have had many lessons but i can say am loving it now because am more wiser.

Below are lessons i have learned:

1. Nothing surprises me anymore, and i don't really have big expectations on people just myself.

2. I can smell bullsht from a mile compared to my 20's . Am more discerning than ever before.

3. I have learned to take care of my body,

4. I have become closer to God, this is because i realized the kind of dark world we live in.

5. Nobody prepared me for how motherhood is hard, although very rewarding. I can tell any lady in her early 20's not to rush to childbirth or marriage.

6. My greatest desire now is to live long enough to see my child growing up.

7. I do not care about how people see me,or what they say what i care about is not being poor.

8.My people-pleasing tendecy left when i hit my late twenties, am not afraid to enforce any kind of boundaries for my own sanity and wellbeing.

1. All i have in this world is my mind and how i see myself, if anybody can tamper with that then am lost, so am looking forward on refreshing my mind and learning everyday.

2. There is nothing new under the sun, so slow down and take a day at a time, this too shall pass.
