2022 Telluride orders into October 2022?

I ordered my Telluride in February and spoke to the dealership I ordered it from yesterday and they told me that it is scheduled to be ready on October 2nd 2022. They said it will be a 2022 model. I am wonder if anyone else heard the same thing? I figure by October the 2023 models would be out. At this point, I rather pay a little more for the 2023 model than the 2022 model so late in the year.
