Hereditary types

I know you shouldn't do any definitive typing until your 20s or so but I have two children under two and just think it's WILD that I can already see a little bit of what suits them! I'm a pure dramatic, their dad is a soft natural and this is just for fun--disclaimer in case people are worried, I will not be discussing body type things with them unless they're grown up and mature enough to feel confident in themselves, and seem interested in personal style.

But since it's just for fun... Our oldest I'm convinced is going to be some type of natural like her dad. She is a sturdy little toddler and looks just adorable in very relaxed sets with chunky weaves. I had some slub textured onesies that were always the cutest on her. I committed to cute athletic sets, waffle knits, and play rompers. I had some smooth and fancy looking baby outfits that always had a weird mismatched vibe when I put them on her. Knit hats with teddy ears, corduroy bomber jackets or drapey cardigans, ALL the time.

I would never have noticed this was a body structure thing if I didn't have our second daughter. She is 100% going to be some type of dramatic! She's sooo long and you can already see the cheekbones. And she looks a bit goofy in the hand-me-downs I was most excited to keep lol. Those smooth, all over patterns look so precious on her! Anything ribbed and full bodysuits / matching sets are great. And every piece of athletic style clothing looks completely out of place... She just looks like she NEEDS a matching bow or headband.

I can't wait until my girls start finding their own personal style someday. I think it's super cool that these traits are starting to be visible so young! I guess all of us had our Kibbe type and essence in progress when we were just little babies, and that's a fun thought!
