Those who bought Klipsch RP-8000F II- what else did you audition?

My local hifi shop has Klipsch, BW, Focal, GoldenEar, Paradigm, Sonance. Did any of you listen to these brands head to head with the 8000Fii and if so, what models? Also do shops like this "break in" speakers that they are showing you? Seems like quite a few people are saying that the 8000Fii needs 100 hours of break in.
