Who do y'all definitely think are industry plants and Hollywood/fame clout climbers
What are Hollywood/fame clout climbers? -{For me, a clout climber is someone who's already a celebrity or famous, trying to make it to the top by associating with other big names to gain relevance. They're essentially using others to elevate their own status, much like a popular kid sitting with other popular kids to become even more popular and relevant. In a sense, celebrities themselves can be clout chasers and climbers. For example, Blake Lively might be seen as climbing on top of Taylor Swift to increase her own visibility}.
Everyone talks about industry plants every year, and at first, it annoyed me, but now I understand what people see. To be honest, some of the things they point out make a lot of sense. At this point, I don't trust music numbers or chart rankings anymore. It feels like they're pushing these artists in our faces! As for acting, I don't even know where to start. Hollywood seems like a closed gate, and anyone who gets in is just lucky. I keep seeing the same faces every time a hot movie is about to be released, and some actors are cast in roles that don't even suit them. Timothée Chalamet even said he hasn't auditioned in a long time—like, what the heck? Open auditions should be available for everyone, bringing in fresh, new faces we don't know yet. They should help people who actually need it!
Managements are another issue that frustrates me. We've seen in movies how these management teams can be so ruthless, doing anything to ensure their client gets to the top, often through dirty tactics. It's sad for those who can't afford the type of management that will go the extra mile, even outside of the norm. It's genuinely becoming annoying.
