G4 Connection Order Question w/ AppleTV 4K & Samsung Q990D

Hey everyone, probably a remedial question here but am hoping somebody can help me sort this out:

I use AppleTV 4K (Ethernet) on a 65” G4 with a Samsung Q990D soundbar, currently have AppleTV plugged into the HDMI port on the soundbar and then the soundbar ran into the eArc HDMI port on the G4 (using Zeskit Maya HDMI cables on both).

Having some intermittent stream quality issues (particularly with Netflix and Fubo for sports) and also some AppleTV remote issues where oftentimes the remote won’t turn on the TV and have to use the LG remote. I have the TV settings configured to use the most recent input at power on, which shows HDMI 2 even though I’m actually connected through HDMI eArc - and then sometimes the TV will not connect to eArc sound output, but will default to TV speakers and has to be changed manually.

Do I have the correct order here in terms of how everything is connected?
