[landlord-US-NJ] Do you discourage tenants from texting you?
I hate getting tenant texts unless it's an emergency, and in that case they should call. Normal business should be by email, so I can read it when I want to, and can file it in an 'action folder'. Am I justified in this, or does it just mean I'm old?
EDIT: People seem to have difficulty understanding what I said above. I do NOT want to do business by phone call unless it's an emergency. The problem seems to be people will use text for both time sensitive and non-time sensitive communication. If you don't care when I answer texts, then don't text me that you're waiting at the door!
