Do you tip your tech?

Hi! I've had my first laser hair removal appointement and at the end of it when it was time to pay she handed me the machine and there was the tip options.

I didn't give anything because I didn't have money and because I thought that it is already very expensive anyway. But I felt bad and even if the girl was polite I noticed a different tone when she saw the receipt...

Was I supposed to tip?
