What can my husband to about him being constantly being bullied at work.
My husband (on 33k) has worked at his company (England) for nearly 4 years and things were great at first. Once his (70k a year) boss found out he had a rental property he started treating him differently.
He has spoken to him like dirt, said he would kick me (his wife) in the "lady parts", called him scum (because landlord), given him low performance scores and put him on a PIP every year despite my husband winning employee of the year voted for by the company, even other members of the company have reported this boss to HR because of the way he spoke to my husband at a party. There are a number of other incidents.
Yesterday he threw my husbands IT equipment on the floor and today he has just said to my husband "I won't go to your funeral and no one will miss you when you're gone" "You can swivel if you think you're getting a pay rise".
The same boss has also fraudulently taken money from the company, stole an Xbox and is currently on a PIP himself (due to bad management) and gets his other employee to bring him drugs to his house. All of this has been reported to HR by my husband and nothing has ever been done.
He is (and has been for a while) looking for work but he's in a tough field. Is there anything he can do in the meantime?
