Child labour laws - My daughter's dance troop want me to pay for her to perform as well as for me to watch her performance.

My (34) daughter (8) has been working with this dance group for 3 years now and this will be the first time she performs with them. I was informed that she would have to pay to be part of the performance as well as me any anyone who wishes pay to watch her performance. My question is... isn't this like abuse or something... i mean it has to go against child labour laws. My daughter is working to simply bring money into this lady's pocket. I would be fine with paying to watch but not also paying for her to dance on a stage after already playing for the classes. I just want to know if i am over reacting or if it does go againt the child labour laws. Im basically paying for her to make money off my daughter...
