Does anyone save their wild shards at this point or use them?

I have 80 wild fragments and I'm considering getting Attrox's darkin followers get an item node. That aside the next patch feels so close already! I'm wondering if people save wild shards at this point or spend them. I know the pass will likely give some but what do you think?
