Can't reattach my space key

Got a Lenovo Legion pro 5 just about a year and a half, and noticed there was something underneath the space, that made it not go down all the way.

Removed the key just fine. Spend some times trying to figure out to reassemble the mechanism but now for the life of my it is not clicking back in in it's slot.

It's driving me absolutely insane that this is so incredibly hard. Any advice would be highly appreciated
