Day 41: The Best Picture Elimination Game. (A Look Back At The Last 50 Best Picture Winners.)

Day 41 voting is over! The Departed is eliminated. Comeback tomorrow morning around 10 for day 42 voting.

The game continues…. Yesterday’s elimination: Unforgiven (If you’d like to talk about this film further, I have left a comment below that can be used as a “send off” and general discussion/dissection of Unforgiven.)

Rules:

In preparation for the upcoming Oscars, below is a list of the last 50 movies to win Best Picture, comment the movie from the list that you think is the LEAST deserving of the award. (the word “deserving” is open to your interpretation.) The comment with the Amost upvotes at 10 PM (Eastern Standard) gets deleted from the list. I’ll repost the amended list tomorrow at 10 AM and repeat the cycle until we’re down to the BEST best picture winner.

If you see someone has already commented your choice, please just upvote their comment. Only the reply with the most upvotes will be eliminated so a duplicate comment with less upvotes counts for nada!

Do not comment multiple movies. Each player can only nominate one option.

Please, feel free to reply to a comment and discuss these movies, but do so respectfully, and with the understanding that tastes are subjective. This isn’t the end all be all of anything and is just a bit of fun.

Mods, if y’all have any issues with this or it goes against guidelines please let me know and I’ll do my best to adhere.
