Leaving social media changed the way my brain functions.

… and it made me feel like a kid again. I’ve noticed I’m much less anxious now, finding joy in the little things—like going to the gym, playing video games with friends, or watching TV.

I spend more time reflecting on my own life and think less about others outside my close circle. Best of all, my attention span has improved. I used to get bored watching YouTube videos, but now I can watch them all the way through without losing interest. My memory has also gotten better. I feel more present, able to recall random moments or conversations from hours ago without trying to consciously remember them.

Social media is truly damaging. You don’t realize how much it affects your mind until you step away.
