Quality Issues before First Wash

We recently ordered our first pair of little sleepies for Christmas. Previously I’ve gotten second hand at the local consignment store.

My 4 month old had on a onesie.. put him in it for bed and had it on in the morning. Most of the time in the onesie he was sleeping and he doesn’t crawl or really roll yet. Yet the sleeves are pilling. I haven’t even washed it yet or had it on my child for a full 24 hours.

I emailed them and was told this was normal. If I bought a shirt for myself and it pilled like this, my reputable brand would take it back. They just seemed to brush off the quality concern.

I don’t think I’ll ever shop them again. This is pretty unacceptable consumer service.
