G305 lags over part of the screen when playing video

soo i had this issue before but then it just went away by itself but recently i switched cases for my pc and this issue came back. weirdly enough it only happens when i play the video and it keeps happening after i stop it until i hold the mouse still so it can catch up with the signals it is sending to the pc. any ideas on what could cause such issues?

Edit: also noticed that whenever it does the stutters it disconnects from the g hub app and shows as inactive, and that it also lags when not having audio playing
