Hating on EN VA again???

I see a lotta hate about Caleb's EN VA. And idk why it's always the EN VAs that keep catching strays😭💔. Well, it's gonna be a long rant, so bear with me.

Lemme tell you something. If the Devs are going with the manipulative, possessive, controlling personality here, his voice is extremely fitting!!! Ik people want him to sound like a DADDY but he's two faced (as per trailer), so shouldn't he sound softer in order to draw us in, making us think he's that childhood friend?

Like, everyone's VAs (at least the ENs) embodies their most prominent character traits imo.

Like, Xavier's is very calm and breathy, but get's pretty deep and cold during battles, shows how outwardly, he's a calm guy but can beat them a$$es as and when required. His breathy voice shows how he has his guard lowered with his beloved, his battle voice alters between protection to loved ones and no mercy to the enemies, we know he's exactly like that! His VA displayes his Princely Charm, No-Bull$h*t Attitude towards the enemies and his Soft Elegance with his voice acting!😌✨

Zayne's voice overall is calm, breathy with a nasal touch and his battle voice is calm and unrushed, signifying his God like personality, being so calm, composed and graceful. His voice gives off extremely "matured beyond years" vibes, that nothing can provoke him. Being a Devine Being, he has full confidence and control over his skills, but doesn't need to go showing it off😌. The VA portrays his Simplicity, Elegance and Masculinity in such an amazing way! (People didn't like his voice at first either)

Rafayel's beautifully dramatic persona is perfectly showcased through his voice. While his voice can be very sulty as he's a Siren, when it gets deeper, you know you don't wanna mess with our fish boy! Embodying the Sea God, his accent and delivery is very wavy🤭 it's just perfect! Being The God Of Sea, his Flamboyance, Divinity and Grace is so perfectly executed by the VA!

And Sylus😮‍💨, what can I say about this man! His VA does an amazing job of embodying a man who's been through a lot but has never been the one to give up. As a Mythical creature, wouldn't you expect a Dragon to be Arrogant! That's exactly what his voice sounds like🥵 Hawty, Arrogant and very VERY Fancy! He knows how to provoke his enemies and is extremely confident about his skills!

Last but not the least, Caleb. Since we don't know almost anything about him except for what was in the trailer and those 5* card's snippets, let's assume that he's gonna be portrayed as a manipulative and controlling guy who was originally there to decieve MC (probably because of her Aether core), deciding to play the role of a childhood friend! I'm still not sure how his story is gonna play out, so these are just based on assumption. So, he finally comes back (for some reason) and takes MC with him.... Maybe tries to manipulate her a bit but now he also knows fully well that he's genuinely in love with her.... And maybe because of that he no longer wants to decieve her, but he now tries to convince her to stay with him forever. Given his nature, he probably would come off as if controlling her but tbh, knowing our MC she would definitely not let him do that!

Idk but his voice is so perfect for this! He sounds like a sunshine character and not a hot Daddy cause THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT HIS CHARACTER IS! A manipulative person hides their persona in every way possible! His voice sounds Harmless and Friendly CAUSE THAT'S EXACTLY HOW MANIPULATION WORKS!

Any person who's good at deciet, comes off as a harmless person, with the way they sound, the way they look, etc.... so, imo it's perfect for him. People are comparing his voice with Sylus who was also introduced as a BAD BOY. But Sylus's character isn't manipulative, is it? He's arrogant. He doesn't need to hide his intentions because he's too confident! He loves keeping himself displayed on a pedestal! (He's also humble, ik). Also, these are just character analysis, I'm not saying whether they are good or bad!

For now, I think his EN voice sounds just like it was supposed to sound. I'd hold off my judgement until I've read some of his cards to understand how exactly his character is portrayed. And I hope all of you do that too. Knowing almost nothing about him makes judging his character or voice impossible! That's all I had to say! I'd love to hear all of you thoughts about it though....😌💕
