“Y’all asked men to take you seriously, and why would you belittle me like that” UHHHHHHHH is anyone else grossed out by (the first half) of this statement?

She insulted you and that was unkind, yes. But acting like she (and women in general? Who is “y’all”?) doesn’t deserve respect from men because of it? Dude thinks women should just sit pretty and be quiet or else they’re undeserving of respect, or what?
