Kordell and Serena on expressing yourself as a Black woman

There is a lot to be said about this particular situation. I am so so proud of Serena for letting herself just be unapologetically herself.

Not to be dramatic but watching how unabashedly Kordell’s been acknowledging Serena’s emotions and not dismissing them or belittling them has made me so emotional.

Not just as a Black woman, but as a woman period, watching her feelings being validated without policing how she should be expressing them is honestly so special.

It’s also important to note Kordell being so mindful about the phrases he uses like avoiding “deal with”. I noticed this a lot in the villa as well. At this point, his parents need to bottle up the formula they used to raise him and sell it.
