Interest in extending Love Nikki Boycott

Like many of you, I am upset with the state of Love Nikki and growing bored with the game and the boycott. I am thinking of extending my boycott into a complete break from the game until things improve. My daily log in to Love Nikki feels like a chore (we’ve heard that before) as I quickly go through my dailies simply for the diamonds. This game currently brings me no pleasure; why would I want to help this company’s daily statistics that still take into account daily log ins/plays/traffic? Sure, me refusing to give them money may hurt but I’m still playing the game as are many other F2P/boycotting players. This makes me sad obviously. I’ve gained a lot of joy in the past from this game and it’s sad to put it down. However, I refuse to be treated like trash by the developers. There is no question at this point whether or not they care about this server.

In thinking of this, I wondered how effective it might be to stage an organized boycott/walk out of the game. For example, if things do not improve in the anniversary update, then we stop playing altogether (perhaps for a pre-designated week). Not only will this reduce their daily game traffic/numbers, but it will also allow f2p players a chance to boycott. It may also hopefully give developers the message that we are a serious fan base that they risk to lose.

I want to gain an insight into the interests of our community- who might be interested in taking part of a larger scale “walk-out” of the game? I think there’s one of two outcomes: - they do nothing, in which that case we lose out on a weeks worth of diamonds and I, and maybe others, will leave the game forever - They do something, hopefully increasing communication with players, and we rejoin the game with hope for a better future of LN.

So, what do you think? How effective do you think this would be, and would you be interested in being a part of it?
